“Flexibility and risk management” is the topic of David Simchi-Levi’s session at the CSCMP Annual conference

The recent natural disasters and unpredictable market conditions have motivated companies to think more about their risks and ability to react to them. Fortunately, there are proven methods to address these issues and if you are attending the CSCMP Annual global conference in Philadelphia you will have the opportunity to attend MIT Professor David Simchi-Levi’s session on “Flexibility and risk management”.

This talk will define flexibility, discuss specific and practical implementation methods and illustrate the impact through a number of case studies. One example will be how flexibility and supply chain segmentation helped transform Dell’s business performance in the last few years.

The session will be held on Monday, October 03, 2011 (1:30 PM – 2:30 PM) as part of the “Fundamentals of Supply Chain” track in Room: 204C
